Helen is a self taught artist living in Jupiter, Florida. She loves to make impressionist landscapes from oil and cold wax, allowing the casual observer to use their imagination.
"My layered alcohol ink series starts with a white sheet of synthetic paper, then I hand cut a design into the paper using a wood burning tool. Once this is acccomplished, I color the design with alcohol ink. I repeat the process for each layer, then after varnishing I may decide to add a few French knots for depth and texture.
